Anna University: Anna University partnered with GUVI, to launch the ‘Naan Mudhalvan - Anna University - GUVI Tamil Nadu Coder's Premier League’ (NM-AU-TNcpl) hackathon. The initiative aimed to train engineering students in Tamil Nadu by providing training in coding through a series of hackathons conducted across the state.

The official press release states that on April 12, 2024, the Madras Institute of Technology hosted the hackathon's grand finale. This NM-AU-TNcpl project involved over 82,688 students from 400 engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.

The government of Tamil Nadu's "Naan Mudhalvan" initiative, Anna University, and the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) collaborated on this project. In February 2024, Thiru Udhyanidhi Stalin, the sports minister of Tamil Nadu, launched the initiative.

A group contained completely of ladies secured the top award. Among the 45 schools required, there were five government organizations, nine associated with Anna College, and 26 independent universities. Additionally, 53% of the participants were female.
