Online PhD programmes offered by edtech enterprises with foreign varsities not recognised UGC, AICTE THE UNIVERSITY subventions Commission( UGC) and the All India Council of Technical Education( AICTE) have issued a notice advising people against subscribing up for online PhDs offered by edtech companies in collaboration with foreign educational institutions, saying similar programmes aren’t recognised by it. In the notice, the advanced education controllers said scholars and the public at large shouldn’t be misled by announcements in this regard. IIM Kozhikode records 100% internship placement for PGP programmes; highest stipend pegged at Rs 6.47 lakhs

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has achieved 100% internship placement for its Post Graduate Programme (PGP) students. The highest stipend received by a student was Rs 6.47 lakhs. IIMK has always been a front-runner when it comes to internship placements. This year, the institute received 2,600 internship offers from 421 companies for its 524 students. The average stipend increased by 8.6% to Rs 3.43 lakhs this year, compared to Rs 3.17 lakhs last year.
