IIT Bombay: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) awarded degrees to 325 students at the interim session of 62nd convocation celebration. At the ceremony, 325 students were awarded 352 degrees which included 209 PhD students.

Moreover, 143 degrees including 44 E-MBA degrees were granted to understudies of different projects. The degrees were given upon those understudies who have finished every one of the necessities from August 2023 to January 2024 and mentioned for the degree to be granted sooner than the 62nd assembly.

Satish K Tripathi, College at Bison, State College of New York, was the Central Visitor of the capability. The capability was managed by the Administrator of the Leading body of Lead representatives, IIT Bombay Sharad Kumar Saraf and the Chief Subhasis Chaudhuri offered the degrees.

Addressing the students, Tripathi said, “This era is being driven by AI, blockchain, Virtual reality, robotics, Quantum Computing, the internet of things and nanotechnology, among other innovations. It is characterised by the speed, scope, interconnectedness and global impact from virtual assistant to small devices, to facial recognition and chat GPT".

The speed at which these advancements are entering the market and the extent of their applications set out exceptional open doors yet in addition raise disturbing worries.

"On one hand, these incredible assets can induce huge products by handling squeezing issues and upgrading personal satisfaction for individuals all over the planet. Nonetheless, In some unacceptable hands, they can bring about wide-scale control trickery and more awful", Tripathi added.
