World University Rankings 2024: The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University has bagged the second rank among Indian institutions in the London-based Times Higher Education's World University Rankings 2024, Vice Chancellor Najma Akhtar said on Wednesday. The university was ranked sixth in the list last year, she added.
"This exhibition mirrors the JMI's developing worldwide presence and effort, other than its catalyst on great examination, distributions and educating. The college would work on its presentation and that would expand its positioning further before very long," Akhtar said.
As per an assertion gave by the JMI, the college has been set in the 501-600 band by the worldwide positioning organization for the second successive year, regardless of a significant expansion in the quantity of the partaking foundations.
"The press explanation gave by Times Advanced education (THE) said that JMI got most extreme scores in research quality, showing quality, global viewpoint and industry in the positioning. THE's Reality College Rankings 2024 are the most far reaching, thorough and adjusted worldwide positioning," the JMI proclamation read.
