Removes optional papers from APSC CCE Mains Exam in Assam
The Assam Cabinet has eliminated the optional subjects from the APSC CCE Mains exam in order to reduce the difficulty of the question papers for those subjects.
The Assam Cabinet has decided to eliminate the difficulty of question papers for various optional subjects from the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Mains administered by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC).
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma presided over the cabinet meeting that resulted in the decision. This decision will help achieve uniformity in the standards for evaluating descriptive answer scripts in the CCE (Mains) examination and guarantee equal treatment for all candidates.
According to an official statement. will make certain that candidates are tested on a level playing field when answer scripts are evaluated,” it added.
APSC CCE Mains Exam :
There was a written test and an interview for the CCE Mains exam. There are eight standard essay or objective papers with few words, as well as two qualifying language papers, on the written exam. There were optional subjects on Papers 7 and 8, each worth 250 marks.
